Going full Yo Gotti

In the past few days, I have been listening to nothing but Yo Gotti.
Bit of an odd choice for me to be honest, since I am more of a fan of lyrical rappers, and "trap music" usually doesn't have many lyricist.
Yo Gotti is one of those few exceptions I have found.
He still follows the standards of trap music, talking about how he lived before he started rapping. In other words, rapping about selling drugs, robbing people, other criminal things.
While saying this, he does it much better than most other "trap rappers" such as Waka Flocka Flame, who is one of my least favorite rappers. He gives detailed descriptions of growing up in the hood, selling drugs to make a living for his family. He talks about the pain of his life, how he knew what he was doing was wrong, but he was doing it to live and provide for his kids. Hearing him describe the happiness of making money and living a life that no normal person could live in that type of situation is very inspiring.
While yo gotti may not be the best rapper out there, he is still a good rapper, with a very good tale. I encourage you to check it out, listen to a few of his songs, and see what you think of him.

Trap Music

Just got out of school, and for some reason I was feeling gangsta today. So I decided to vibe with some different kinds of music today. Went with Yo Gotti's Cocaine Muzik 5 mixtape. One song in particular caught my attention, and that was a song called Somebody's Watching Me. I'm not really sure why it caught my attention so much, but for any of my followers who smoke weed and always get extremely paranoid, this is a song for you.

Back to the basics

Well, it's nice and early in the morning, so I thought I would chill to some new snoop dogg. Listening to purp and yellow by snoop dogg and the game. Remix to some Wiz, who is one of my favorite artists.
If there are any other snoop and wiz fans reading this, try listening to the G-Mix version of black and yellow. Also they've got a good weed smoking song called 'That Good' that I've been bumping around the block.

Vibing to rap tonight

Well, it is a boring night and there's nothing that's going to make it more interesting, so why not kick back, relax, and enjoy some good music.
I'm chilling to some j. cole tonight. Not really in the "gangsta" mood, so I went with a down to earth, chill hip-hop. He's got great beats, and wonderful music talent. Try out his new mixtape (friday night lights) if you haven't heard of him yet.
