Going full Yo Gotti

In the past few days, I have been listening to nothing but Yo Gotti.
Bit of an odd choice for me to be honest, since I am more of a fan of lyrical rappers, and "trap music" usually doesn't have many lyricist.
Yo Gotti is one of those few exceptions I have found.
He still follows the standards of trap music, talking about how he lived before he started rapping. In other words, rapping about selling drugs, robbing people, other criminal things.
While saying this, he does it much better than most other "trap rappers" such as Waka Flocka Flame, who is one of my least favorite rappers. He gives detailed descriptions of growing up in the hood, selling drugs to make a living for his family. He talks about the pain of his life, how he knew what he was doing was wrong, but he was doing it to live and provide for his kids. Hearing him describe the happiness of making money and living a life that no normal person could live in that type of situation is very inspiring.
While yo gotti may not be the best rapper out there, he is still a good rapper, with a very good tale. I encourage you to check it out, listen to a few of his songs, and see what you think of him.
